Following post 5 my group and I decided on a log line which we shall use in our short film which will help us produce a very high quality final piece.
We decided that our log line was going to be :
"A retired MI5 agent travels across Hertfordshire and relies on his old skills to save his estranged son, who has been kidnapped while on a trip to Hemel Hempstead."
This log line was quite similar to the one we used last year which meant we knew a lot about it which in the long run will mean we will create a high quality film as it is simple and straight to the point meaning it is easier for the audience to understand. This log line meant our location reccy was within the school premisses which meant it was easy to film
Genre
After a discussion with Henri and my teacher mrs Mellish, we have decided that Action is the best genre to suit our group but we could also consider an action comedy as that would go alongside Action very nicely and would be very successful.
